Manual Check-in

    When QR scanning isn't an option

    Sometimes you may need to check in a guest manually—if their phone died, the QR code won't scan, or they're having technical issues. Here's how to do it.

    How to Manually Check In a Guest

    1. 1Open your FTNSS Partner dashboard
    2. 2Go to 'Bookings' in the sidebar
    3. 3Search for the guest by name or email
    4. 4Click on their booking
    5. 5Click 'Check In' button
    6. 6Confirm the check-in

    Verify Guest Identity

    Always verify the guest's identity before manual check-in. Ask for a photo ID that matches the booking name to prevent unauthorized access.

    When to Use Manual Check-in

    • Guest's phone battery is dead
    • QR code won't display or scan
    • Camera/scanner malfunction
    • Guest forgot their phone but has ID
